10 Year Warranty

Peace of Mind Comes Standard

When you choose reliable Carrier products for your home heating and cooling needs, you don’t just get industry leading products–you also get solid warranty coverage to protect your family’s investment.

The terms and coverage details of your warranty are specific to the Carrier product models you own. Typically, Carrier products, if registered within 90 days, come with a 10-year standard parts limited warranty; otherwise 5 years*. Depending on your model, certain components within the system may have different standard warranty periods.

Additionally, Aircon can also offer optional labor warranties to further protect your investment. Even with the standard parts warranty, repair labor bills can range from $100 to $1000 or more.

Find Your Model Number

Model Number Example for Warranty SubmissionKnowing the model numbers of your Carrier products will help you troubleshoot any problems and will make it easier for your Carrier dealer to provide service.

In addition to being listed in your owner’s manual or other paperwork that came with your Carrier product, the model number is also posted directly on your unit. Here’s how to find it:

Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps

You can find the model number listed on a “rating plate” sticker on the unit above the back-seated service valve connections.

Gas or Oil Furnace

Remove the front door and look at the upper-left side of the unit. You can find the model number listed on a “rating plate” sticker inside of the unit.

If you have a different Carrier product, look for a “rating plate” sticker on the unit. And of course, if you are unable to find your model number, you can always contact us for a hand. We’re happy to help!
